With Spring fast approaching and soon thereafter Easter celebrations, we have been designing and crafting some new seasonal treats to share with you all.
The first of these treats is an all new Panettone, the Apricot Almond! We delicately balanced apricot and almond flavors to create a unique depth that we think nicely compliments the base essence of all our panettoni.
The second creation is something altogether different, yet so familiar. Chef Emiddio has put his chocolate art crafting skills at work to create a collection of Easter eggs intended to be a treat for both eyes and mouth. We call this collection “the Aviators,” composed of Miss Bunny and Mister Bunny.
These eggs are made with the finest chocolates. The ingredients include:
- Valrhona Ivoire White Chocolate – 35% cocoa butter
- Valrhona Caramelia Milk Chocolate – 36% cocoa
- Callebaut Ruby Chocolate – 47.3% cocoa
- Valrhona Equatoriale Dark Chocolate – 55% cocoa
- Pistachio Powder
The Apricot Almond Panettone will be available for early ordering in our online store from today, March 11th, along with all of our other Panettone flavors. The first production of all Panettoni will be ready for pick-up starting Saturday March 25th, and will have the following schedule:
- Saturday, March 25th – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Sunday, March 26th – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Monday, March 27th – Panettoni ordered for delivery are shipped out
- Saturday, April 1st – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Sunday, April 2nd – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Monday, April 3rd – Panettoni ordered for delivery are shipped out
- Saturday, April 8th – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
The latest that Panettoni can be ordered for delivery to arrive before Easter (shipping out on April 3rd) would be on Thursday, March 30th.
“The Aviators” will be available for purchase from our online store from today March 11th, up until Sunday, April 2nd. Since these items are very delicate they will be pick-up only. Please use our online system to select a pick-up date in the checkout page. Pick-up dates are as follows:
- Saturday, April 1st – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Sunday, April 2nd – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
- Saturday, April 8th – Pick-up available at Gastown Pastry Lab – 11:00am to 3:00pm
